Margaret Bourke-White
Margaret Bourke-White was a photographer born in New York City, primarily known for her photos taken of victims of the dust bowl and working for Life magazine. During her career she completed many impressive fetes including being the first foreign photographer to take pictures of Soviet industry, was the only Western photographer to witness the German invasion of Moscow in 1941, and she was the first woman to accompany Air Corps crews on bombing missions in 1942 (www.icp.org, Margaret Bourke-White).
