Ellen Von Unwerth

Ellen von Unwerth is a German photographer best known for her play and erotic images of female pop musicians and models. Over the course of her career, she has photographed Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Rihanna, among many others. “Technique undoubtedly helps make photography magical, but I prefer to work with atmosphere,” she has said. “I think that the obsession with technique is a male thing. I would rather search for a new model or location.” Born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany in 1954, she was raised in various foster homes in Bavaria. Discovered by a model-scout in Munich at 20 years old, she relocated to Paris, where she earned a living as a model for the next 10 years before turning to photography. In 1989, she shot Claudia Schiffer for a Guess fashion campaign, a commission which effectively launched her career. Frans Lanting

Frans Lanting ‘ s work has appeared in books, magazines, and exhibitions around the globe. Born in Rotterdam, Netherlands, he gained the master’s degree in economics and went to the United States to learn environmental design. Shortly afterwards, he started shooting the physical world. For three decades he has documented life from the Amazon to Antarctica to encourage knowledge about the world and its physical history through pictures that express the love for world and the sense of wonder about our living planet.

Anne Geddes

Born in 1956 in Australia, Anne Geddes was a self-taught photographer whose favorite subject were young children and babies. Starting her photographic activity in Hong Kong, her fans would have to wait a few years for Anne Geddes to become more serious about photography, and specifically, photographing children. Anne Geddes is now one of the world's most famous baby Photography; she began at humble beginnings featuring her first work in 1988 at Auckland NZ. She was mainly a Portrait artist but devoted one time a month to made some situation for herself. In 1990 she had the oportunity to take a photo of twins `` Rhys and Grant '' that was the picture that had her noticed. Sebastiao Salgado

Sebastião Salgado is a famous film artist and photojournalist with a deep passion and respect for the world while also sensitive to the socio-economic circumstances that affect the human race. He has travelled to around 120 countries for his tasks. He is possibly the most recognized for his long-term cultural documentary projects. Among them: Workers (1993 ) documenting this disappearing way of manual laborers across this globe, Migrations (2000 ) , the tribute to body movement forced by hunger, natural disasters, environmental disaster and population explosion, and most recently GENESIS (2013 ) , an epic eight-year expedition to more than 30 countries to rediscover the mountains, deserts, oceans, animals, and peoples visioned as they must have been at the dawn of creation. Salgado has been this recipient of many prizes and has been the UNICEF Goodwill spokesperson since 2001.

Irving Penn

Born in 1917 in Plainfield, New Jersey to immigrant parents, Irving went to the Museum School of Industrial Humanities from 1934–38 and studied with Alexey Brodovitch on his innovation work. Brodovitch taught the use of rules of contemporary art and innovation through exposure to magazines, exhibitions, building, and photography. After some time at New York as brodovitch's worker in Harper's shop and several art manager businesses, Penn went to Mexico to create in 1941, traveling through the American South and taking photographs along the way. He was finally disappointed by his pictures and ruined them before returning to New York that next year. Irving is best known for his iconic style, painting, and even living pictures that appeared in style, ranks as one of the best photographers of the twentieth century. Cindy Sherman

Cindy Sherman was born in1954 in Valley Ridge, New Jersey. At self-reflexive pictures and movies, Cindy Sherman invents countless guises, metamorphosing from Hollywood starlet to joke to world matron. Often with the simplest of means, a camera, the wig, make-up, the outfit. Sherman fashions ambiguous but unforgettable characters that indicate difficult lives that live outside of the body. Giving her works Untitled, Sherman refuses to enforce descriptive words on her images relying rather on the observer’s ability to create stories, as an important element of appreciating the work.

Diane Arbus

Diane Arbus is recognized for her unsettling photographic portrayals of people on the outskirts of society. She was one of the early photographers to successfully move from the technical aspect of photography, at then time when critics and curators did not consider photography to be an art form. She started putting a portfolio together in 1969 to attempt to make some financial freedom and to sustain her artistic identity. The portfolio, A box of ten pictures, is on display in the Smithsonian English Art Museum until Jan 2019. The museum is the only scene fof this portfolio, one of only four full versions that Arbus published and annotated.

Henri Cartier-Bresson

Henri Cartier-Bresson was born in 1908 in Chanteloup, France and is believed to be the founding father of modern street photography—a movement devoted to capturing this flow of time in the public sphere. Cartier-Bresson, born into the rich Parisian household of textile makers, was the self-taught cosmopolitan with a lifelong talent for identifying consequential events and people. He started taking photographs as a kid, but described himself in the early decades after buying a handheld 35mm camera and started to taking pictures in different locations around the world. His earliest pictures were created in Mexico, Spain, and North Africa and were treasured by this Surrealists for their complex, collage-like compositions created of amazing gestures and architectural settings.
